Wine Ribbed Halter Dress

On a beautiful day in New Zealand, on our drive down from Fox Glacier to Wanaka, we took a detour to checkout these magnificent waterfalls called the Fantail Falls off the Haast Pass. A perfect opportunity for a photo-op, I chose to wear this "wine" colored halter ribbed dress for how beautifully it contrasted against the glacial blue-green waters.Scroll to the bottom to shop this look.Ribbed dresses are such a classic fall outfit. They body hugging fabric and the ribbed details make for a perfect warm yet flattering outfit. While on the hunt for a burgundy ribbed dress or as my dear husband calls it, "Wine dress", I'm always looking for a cozy-chic .. and this little piece of beauty fit the bill just right!  And I mean it literally fit the bill! For under $30 at Forever21, this was practically a steal! The halter neck really brings out your shoulders and neckline.. perfect for someone with a petite frame to look just a little taller! :) The bodycon details really accentuate the curves as well! :) I paired it with a beanie .. coz honestly, I was wearing that beanie all day, and my hair got messy.. also that beanie is super cute and I didn't want to be seen without it :) The sand booties are my fav. They're so versatile and really go with any outfit.
