Home Office Rugs with Walmart

Sponsored by Walmart

Hey ya'll! So you obviously know I've been looking to redesign my home office - I was so sick of the boring beige and neutrals and I chose to take on the a one room challenge and completely transform my space into a thriving moody den!

I chose a pretty wild color palette ranging from jewel tones, forest greens and pops of eclectic luxe. All in all - a very art-deco vibe - but on a serious budget! :)

Now despite the space calling for some heavy pieces that draw attention - its still my home office, and thus needs to be super functional and easy to maintain. A huge part of my design is what rugs I'm placing in the space - coz the rug really centers the room and all the larger pieces of furniture line up against the rug. The rug is also used the most and gets the most traffic - so before I go off an invest in a really attractive Persian or Turkish rug, I needed to think about function.

When Walmart approached me with the offer to look into their Washable rugs collection - I was blown away. I'm not only impressed by the variety of rugs they have, but there were jsut so many fantastic patterns even among the Washable collection, I ended up getting TWO!!

I couldn't choose between the two rugs and wanted to see how they'd look against my rather moody wall color and other furniture pieces. So I tested both rugs in my office - and goodness I can't choose!!!I absolutely love how both the light and dark patterns add such refinement to the space - I decided to layer them both for now, and possibly interchange across the house!

The whole washable nature of the rug eliminates the need for any spot cleaning and periodic maintenance - so I figured even if I don't use them both in my home office, I'll be able to use one is a more high traffic area like my living room and replace one of my existing rugs with these! So I decided to keep both rugs - and just LOVE LOVE LOVE how much appeal that bring to my otherwise drab space!
