Roasted Chickpea Snack
Here’s a healthy lil snack Ive been binging on the last few weeks! Its super easy to make and you can literally make some on sunday evening and eat all week long!
I find myself reaching for it every other evening after work. Careful not to binge, it can take a toll on your tummy (TMI)
INGREDIENTS
2 Cups of Chickpeas or 2 Cans of Garbanzo Beans
Salt, Pepper
Parseley
Chilli powder
Rosemary
Thyme
Garlic Powder
DIRECTIONS
If using chickpeas, soak them overnight in salted water
Use a paper to fully dry out the chickpeas
Preheat the oven at 450 degrees
Lay out the dried chickpeas on a baking pan and put it in the oven for 15 mins
After 15 mins, take it out of the oven
Drizzle all the seasoning above (optionally add olive oil)
Mix it all up so all the chickpeas are covered in seasoning
Put the pan back in the oven for another 30 mins, but make sure to check every 10-15 mins and stir the peas so they don’t burn
After that, leave the oven door slightly oven so the chickpeas cool down
Get the pan out, spray some freshly squeezed lemon juice on top
And serve! 🙂
