DIY Bathroom Makeover

So we're all spending tons of time at home now and I'm starting to see a lot of folks looking to take on simple DIY projects to amp up some of the overlooked nooks in their homes. I've personally taken on a few DIYs and am glad to share the ones I'm sure you'll find helpful. One such project was the Bathroom Makeover.

When we bought our home, our bathroom was pretty old school - tan walls, standard bathtub, nothing to write home about. I'd been eyeing these funky monochrome patterned tiles and wanted to see if there's an easy way to use them for my needs.

Turns out - the Peel & Stick Vinyl floor pops are absolutely perfect for making any surface look amazing! The area from my home office/bedroom past the vanity & closets to the bathroom is all tile - I'm talking old large brown tile. The space isn't too much to cover, and could be tackled by 1 person in a few hours.

Here's what I used - 10 pack of FloorPop Peel & Stick Vinyl tiles. I've linked the exact ones I used (and a couple other options for you to choose from).

I measured what the size of each tile and roughly calculated that I'll likely need 8-9 boxes (of 10), but got an extra just in case some of the stickies are poor quality etc. Wasn't needed at all though, they were all pretty great and I was able to even return the extra box!

Just use a regular pair of scissors to cut up, line the tiles up and go! It took me under 3-4 hours to finish the vanity and another couple hours the next day to get around the bathroom. It gets a tad tricky near the edges and around the toilet... but it doesn't have to be perfect :)

For the bathtub area itself, I replaced the shower curtain with 2 regular linen curtains! Added a bathtub tray, some bathbombs, got my little flokatti stool to hold towels and beauty products - and I was soaking in all the good feelings just admiring the transformation. Took me a total of under $100 ! Like whuttt!! Linked them all below here for ya ;)

Highly recommend you folks take this super simple & fun project on. Its a real stress buster, and SO EASY to do! And the before/after transformation is SO worth the few hours it takes to get through it all!
