Holidays 2018 Recap
A little late..well a little too late for this post, but I've resolved to write more and share more real-life moment with you all in 2019! A big part of what makes me who I am is who I surround myself with - my nearest and dearest.
What its about:
Holiday season is easily my favorite part of the year coz of how much time I get to spend with my hubby and my munchkins. We love putting up the Christmas tree together, bringing down all the ornaments I've been carrying around for over 10 years from the attic and decorating it ! Bailey loves to join in the fun and sit right with us while Lily loves to hang from the ornaments and take them down one at a time!
Our holidays are pretty cozy and non-traditional. We spend hours by the fireplace, order in food and play music together. I love to bake during this time and fill the house will the aroma of fresh cookies !
Mostly though we're really just spending a ton of time soaking up the warmth of the fireplace and cuddling with the mutts :)
Holiday Cards:
We usually send out Holiday cards with all of us in the picture. Getting all 5 of us - Brat, me, Allie, Bailey & Lily (our latest addition) in 1 frame was an incredible challenge! The best part about it all was Lily's iconic Photobomb!
Food & Drinks:
We attempt to make Hot chocolate every year and every year it looks better than it tastes :) Another thing I love to do together is cocktails - that I'll only muscle up to make this time of the year! I'm no good at cocktails and can't tell the difference between one another. But Christmas is when I put on a bar tender's hat and make whatever the internet tells me lol!
