Valentine's Day - Date Night Ideas
Not every day is Valentine's Day, not every date night is Valentine's Date Night! Well, it can be and there's no reason you should wait for one day of the year to capture the romance!

However, Valentine's Day definitely calls for creating a magical evening with your partner or even bestie, share a few laughs, create the excitement of being together! Especially given its in the death of Winter's coldest of months - I thought I'd share some date ideas that do not require you to go out in the cold, atleast stay warm while you're outside!
OUTFITS:
DATE NIGHT OUTFIT:
One of my classic Valentine's Day Date night outfits is a red midi dress. Its iconic, it flows and lets face it, its gonna blow his mind! But given its freaking cold in February, if I know he's taking me out on a date, I'm gonna want to stay warm. But most coats make me look like I've given up on fashion. Doesn't have to be: Here's one of my favorite looks for staying Cozy & Stylish!
BRUNH OUTFIT:
I personally LOVE the idea of a Brunch special on Valentine's Day! My hubby actually plans surprises and gifts for the entire day and I love to spend time outside during the day! But staying cozy is critical and so I throw on a cute sweater dress (always in fashion through winter) with a few simple accessories !
CREATE THE MOOD:
If you've decided to go out for a nice dinner, that's fabulous! But, if you want to create a perfect romantic evening at home- all you need is champagne, roses, blankets & the fireplace!

My hubby and I are fireplace addicts! We absolutely love cozying up with a bottle of wine and smooth Jazz in the background. Most weekend afternoons I just cuddle up with a book and hot tea and couldn't find another place in the world that'd give me that much peace and gratification!
FLOWERS:
Who can say no to flowers?! Some love roses while other love tulips or lilies and so on. I love really anything that has my husband's thoughts in them!

I love tulips as much as I love roses! One of our favorite places to buy a bouquet of tulips is The Bouqs Co. - comes to your doorstep straight from the farm. And the flowers last almost 2 weeks!

But, if you want to go another direction and get her a box of roses! Let it be the first thing she sees when she wakes up! These have been of late my FAVORITE thing in the house. If you're in California, consider Bloom SF! I've been obsessing over boxed roses - whether they are infinity roses as well as roses that last a week. I love how they become the perfect prop for a tablescape or the fireplacex while they last! Even my golden retriever loves them!
GIFTS:
One of the sweetest things I've received from my hubby is jewelry. Not because they cost anything, but its because I know he's put in so much effort, to step outside his comfort zone and browse designs that I may like, package them and get them ready just in time for our date. Its the thought that flatters me and I adore him for that! Some of my favorite places for choice accessories is of course Kendra Scott.
Hope these ideas help you plan your special evening with your loved one!
Wishing you all a wonderful Valentine's Day!
