At-Home Wedding Anniversary in our Backyard

Happy 5th anniversary Brat Nagaraj
(This post is backdated) Every anniversary we’ve had the good fortune to travel to some amazing tropical location... until Covid-19! On our honeymoon we were in Cancun, the next year in Miami, 3rd year in Bali, 4th in Dominican Republic. For our 5th anniversary, we stayed home! :)
I've linked all these pieces that make this beautiful Bistro Table setup here :)

Well, it certainly wasn't our first choice, but thanks to Covid, it was our only choice. And we made the most of it.. which kinda makes all our previous anniversaries seems little lame, given how amazing and memorable our own little backyard turned out to be!
I've linked everything I could from the above setup here :)

For the evening btw I'd changed up the setup to put our lovely Fire pit in the center, but it was in the middle of May and burning hot even later in the evening, so I left it out. But here's how it usually looks with all of us in our backyard :)
I've linked this exact setup along with the Firepit here for you:

My plan was to recreate our intimate wedding in our own lil backyard - all the way from setting up cute Bistro style dining tables, a cute firepit and laying out garden style seating.
For the decor, I actually ran up to my attic and found a lot of the decor supplies (like paper lanterns, laser cut place cards, simple satin table cloth and tree branches for flower vases :)
While I focused on the decor, I totally didn't realize how Brat planned SO MANY special surprises for me!! Firstly, he pre-ordered our special Engagement wine from Beaune (its an aged Bourgogne Pinot Noir).
I woke up in the morning to find surprise gifts, like literally 3 stunning perfectly fitting outfits with flowers and a card waiting for me downstairs. I chose to wear the flirty red dress for our brunch and the off shoulder elegant black dress for dinner!
Our whole plan was to cook elaborate meals together all weekend long! I took ownership of dinner the night before, had wine, with a charcuterie plate and my home-cooked shrimp tacos in our backyard and celebrated over Virtual video-calls with our closest friend.
The next day I took on an elaborate anniversary brunch - setting up some yum cake, home baked cookies and coffee. I had a lot of fun setting it all up waiting for him to wake up... but he beat me to it with him amazing gifts :) So lucky to have this thoughtful man all to myself for the rest of my life!
What's more, Brat took over dinner - and boy was the dinner memorable! He made us a 4 course meal - seriously! Starting with his amazing Garlic bread, served with the entire bottle of Bourgogne that went down before the sun did haha
That was followed by his fantastic Spicy Garlic Butter Linguine pasta - seriously this is to DIE FOR! His recipe is a total secret, even I don't know how its made, but it kicks ass!
That was followed by his yet another signature special Lemon Butter Salmon. Again, he has his own recipe for this, and dare I say it's probably pretty rich coz he does't hold back... but it was literally melting in my mouth! I can still taste it as I write this post, 2 months later!
Following that was dessert, which we made together - our signature Chocolate Creme Brulee! Well, we had the custard ready, but were fresh out of Butane! So we had the custard that night and got the butane blow torch to fire up the remaining 4 ramekins we had sitting in the fridge :)

This weekend made us realize we really don’t have to splurge or get away to make a moment special. Having my Fav person in the world to be quarantined with is probably the best gift I could’ve asked for
