Chocolate Martini

Hope you all had a fantabulous holiday break! Are you having withdrawal symptoms already? If you feel like you're missing the holidays, try this easy Chocolate Martini recipe and it'll feel like Christmas all over again :) Even if you're not, has anyone ever said no to a chocolate martini?

For our New Year's Eve house party, I decided to make Stroke-of-Midnight Craft Cocktails, personalized for each guest! I made three different kinds and will be sharing my recipes on the blog. This one's for the true chocolate lover !  :)

I like my drinks strong! So my measurements are for the brave hearted :) Feel free to take an ounce off my vodka recommendations!

What you'll need to make 2 martinis:

4 ounces of Vodka (Belvedere is my fav)

6 ounces of Creme de Cacao

2 ounces of whole milk + 2 ounces of light cream  (or 4 ounces of half-and-half)

1.5 cups of crushed Ice

Prep time: 5 mins

Ready in: 5 mins

Prep the glass: Run a lime along the rim of the glass and then apply some cocoa along the rim. Combine all of the above ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake until chilled.Strain into 2 chilled martini glasses :)

Garnish with chocolate or cocoa sprinkles.

Ugh I'm gonna so miss the holidays... my husband and I got a much deserved, relaxing holiday break, spent quality time with each other and close friends. Hoping these pictures and the recipes keep me going through the rest of the year!
