Hotel Review: LaZebra in Tulum Mexico

In between goals, is a thing called Life.

La Zebra Tulum is where you kick it up a notch.. meet new people, have cocktails served up to my plunge pool, swing by the ocean as you watch the sun rise over the crystal turquoise waters... such a dream!

After a few days at the Casa, I wanted to experience what Tulum's exclusive eco-chic boutique hotels have to offer. I took over the spectacular Ocean front Suite with a Private Plunge Pool, one of the BEST rooms at the LaZebra hotel, right in the heart of the most vibrant part of Tulum.

The hotel is jiving with energy, young people and families, tons of beach cabanas, live music, multiple bars that showcase unique experience-projects. When I was there, the Mulberry project from NYC was offering house made custom cocktails to anyone swinging by!

The experience of staying at LaZebra was completely in contrast of what Casa Mandala had to offer and I absolutely loved both the experiences. After a quiet few days basking in the privacy and luxury of the Casa, LaZebra felt like a welcome vibrant experience where we got to meet a ton of new people, have cocktails served up to my private plunge pool all day long.

You have GOT to book an appointment at their spa...its a surreal possibly the most relaxing massages I've ever received. Starting with a jungle ritual with incense, followed by an incredible relaxing massage with jungle inspired Lavender and Peppermint oils.

The decor is very unique at LaZebra - especially in the restaurant! The tables are all hand painted by a local artist and each table has a unique ocean & jungle inspired painting on them! The breakfast with the view of the ocean in itself is a treat!

My room was massive and the showers were generously large! From the morning coffee served up to the room, a bottle of complementary Mezcal and drinks served up to my plunge pool... the luxury! :)

The hotel has a ton of nooks that are adorable. There's the "Nap room" with  hammocks to just grab a cat nap after a day of soaking in the sun.

The swimming pool is on the top floor with a huge bar and lounge area, perfect to watch the sunset!

All in all, LaZebra is an absolutely mesmerizing experience, for couples as well as for families!
